Demian was born in France and grew up in Australia, but before he came to Edinburgh he travelled the world. This is reflected in the menus at Ten Hill Place, which although mainly Scottish, take inspiration from south-east Asia, south-America and Europe.
The resulting dishes are prepared with fresh Scottish produce, using French cooking techniques, a genuine “melting pot”- of a menu!
Our Kitchen team are a highly creative bunch, and as such have numerous outlets for said creativity.
Demian has a blog (chop!chop!sizzle!), where “on the pass”-photos of the dishes on our menu can be seen in their natural environment (that is, right before they are enthusiastically consumed!).
