The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has published its Annual Report for 2013. This year the Report covers how the College has responded to the many developments across the health service, as well as reporting recent RCSEd activities and initiatives.
In his first report as President, Mr Ian Ritchie said: “This has been a turbulent period and one of great change, not least to healthcare in the UK, which has felt the reverberations of the Francis Report, the restructuring of the NHS in England and the introduction of Revalidation. All of these have implications for this College, especially given our large membership based in England, and will continue to influence our actions as we move forward.”
